Spending time with my own self, chatting with my thoughts and playing my favorite music in the background is something I love to do on a lazy weekend.. Yeah, I am generally lazy on weekends and don’t do much apart from “sleeping” 😉 Today is different, it’s the weekend that’s lazy, not ME! 😛
And my relaxed mind is thinking of a lot of interesting things that happened in my life.. and also the ones that’s gonna happen.. 🙂
Looking at the Valentine Day ads and offers, memories of my college days were refreshed!! Specially the first year of college when the whole Valentine week was a big celebration starting from pink day, black and white day to rose day and finally the BIG day – Valentine Day.. First time celebrations are always cherished in memories.. With new friends, new environment, and new excitement I was all set for my first Vday celebration which in Wadia College is celebrated as Traditional Day.. I remember how uncomfortable I felt wearing a saree for the first time in college. 😉 Still, coming out of that only hitch, what a colourful day it was with people from different parts of the country in their own traditional attire.. Our college was like a Mini India on that day.. 🙂
This year, I am feeling the same excitement in this Valentine week.. And the reason is my New Valentine 🙂 Oh don’t be surprised! My new Valentine is my new car that’s getting delivered tomorrow 🙂 🙂 and I am soo very excited about it..
Though I am doing blunders in my car driving school sessions by leaving the steering if someone comes in my way, and then getting an angry look from trainer saying “Madam, car me break bhi hota hai” 😉 and also taking U turns as if I am rotating the whole earth ;), I still feel “Hum honge kamayab ek din” 🙂 🙂
This year seems lucky for me with a lot of new things coming in.. Starting with my new watch (ok I know that’s not something big, but it was a bday gift yaar), a new job, then a new car (which is NEW i10) that’s on the way and a French class that I am starting with my friend end of Feb.. Wow, its all so thrilling!!
Well, I have a lot of plans for this year to keep myself busy with what all I like.. The list looks big, lets see how much I achieve..
For now, its just a moment to thank god for this beautiful phase of life and enjoy it to the fullest.. 🙂
